Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was really wonderful for us this year. We drove around to all our friends and delivered cookies and fudge and looked at all the Christmas lights. We had a little program with the traditional Christmas Nativity puppets and Thatcher and Taggart got into their matching Christmas pjs. Todd and I stayed up late helping Santa and then we snapped this picture of the finished product.

Here are Thatcher and Taggart on Christmas Eve wearing their matching pajamas.

Christmas Spirit

People REALLY get into decorating their yards with various lights and blow up figures here in Tucson. Their yards are DECKED out! It isn't my personal taste, but it is fun to drive around and show Thatcher!
I couldn't help but take a picture of this for you Seinfield fans...I can't believe someone put this in their yard!
All of this is in someones front yard! I cannot believe how much "stuff" people put in their yards here for Christmas. You can hardly see their house!

While I was in Rhode Island we got the boys pictures taken...they turned out so cute! I absolutly love Kiddie Kandids and would recommend them to anyone!

Bragging Rights...

I don't think it is bragging if I brag about Todd, and I know when he reads this he is going to shoot me! :-) Todd this last week found out he got a raise because he has been such a good employee to his company! We are so proud of him!

Rincon's Christmas Party

We went to Todd's Works Christmas party on the 17th. It was held at the Hilton Resort and it was beautiful. There was a buffet dinner and dancing after. It was really fun. Here we are with our good friends the Hills.

Visit to Rhode Island!

Last week the kids and I went to Rhode Island to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Monson and Uncle Jon and Uncle David. It was really fun and we had a great time. The plane rides went pretty well and Thatcher and Taggart were good boys!

While we were in Rhode Island Grandma and Grandpa Monson took us to Chucky Cheese. Thatcher absolutly LOVED it and we had a really good time!

PLEEEEAAASE?

We taught Thatcher how to say "please" when he wants something and it is a wonderful escape from his usual grunt that he mastered. So now he says please whenever he wants anything, the problem is, we sometimes do not understand what he wants! So yesterday we were in the car getting ready to come home from church when Thatcher starts saying, "Plea, Pleeeea" (which is his way of saying, please) We were looking all around and trying to figure out what he wants and I said, "Drink?" and his eyes lit up and he said, "Dri"!! Todd took him inside and got him a drink. Poor kid was so thirsty! He was so relieved after knowing that he actually communicated what he wanted with us! It was really cute.

Thatcher can now say a large variety of words and the more he plays with his friends Jaxon and Lacey the more he learns to say. It is great!

Grandma and Grandpa Bishop Visit

Thatcher hasn't seen Grandpa Bishop in a long time. Here is a game they played with an
italian-style cap of Grandpa's.

Thatcher's turn to wear the hat. He's almost Italian like his father thinks that he is...

Taggart slept constantly, like a good little baby (all of our kids are good little kids). So Grandma kisses him goodbye while he sleeps in his favorite place...his swing!!

Sleepy Boy...

Taggart fell asleep with me in bed for about an hour or so this morning after he ate. We wrap our kids up in a burrito when they are infants so they can sleep better, so I was surprised when I came back into the bedroom after getting Thatcher up to find Taggart sleeping like this with his arms out. I think it is so cute, he is already out growing the burrito wrap!

On Sunday November 5th Taggart was blessed. It was a beautiful blessing and he looked so cute in his blessing outfit!

Prices come to Visit!

Jessica, Josh and Caden price drove from Utah to see us here in Arizona for Taggart's baby blessing. It was really fun having them here. We went to the park with the boys and they had a blast feeding the ducks and playing on the playground.

Halloween Carnival!

On Friday we went to our wards Halloween carnival and it was a blast! Thatcher loved dressing up and being in his costum. He also loved watching all the other people in their costums. He got his face painted, went through the spook alley, tossed some bean bags and ate some donuts on a string. It was all in all a great time!
Our little "Mr. Incredible" or "The Dash" take your pick!
