Leaving on a Jet Plane...

I will be gone with the boys for two weeks. We are leaving tonight for Rhode Island. I don't know if I will have the chance to blog very much over there, but I am going to try!

Blast From The Past...

This is a good friend of mine, Julie Zaccardi, that I have just recently met back up with. Here we are as kids, I think she was probably 15 and I would be 13 in this picture. Notice the early 90's fashion and don't forget the braces. We lived in Oregon at this time and she was in my ward. We were crazy together. Most of you know that I have a little bit of a crazy side, well she defiantly brings this side out in me. We toilet papered all the time, prank called and basically gave a few grey hairs to our parents and leaders. But don't worry, it was all good clean fun. At girls camp one time we decided that it would be a good idea to light a fire in our tent. My mom just happened to be one of the camp directors that year. While she was talking to some other leaders she found out that some crazy girls lite a fire in their tent. She was appalled... and then she found out it was me, and Julie. We had some fun times together. I am glad that we have reconnected after all these years.

Tent Time

Last night Todd made a tent for Thatcher in our Family Room out of all our chairs and blankets! We all got in and read books, and had a good time. Thatcher loved the tent, and loved tearing it down at the end! It was a lot of fun.

HELP ME!

Today while I was away from Thatcher for probably three minutes he did this. He emptyed the WHOLE box of baby cereal all over our couch and floor. Now, this is not the first time he has done this. It is the third. The previous two times the box wasn't nearly as full. I don't know if it is the age, or a stage, or him just being a curious boy, but I am at dying here! It seems like everyday there is a GIGANTIC mess for me to clean up. Cleaning the house seems pointless as I have a Super Fudge going behind me undoing what I just did. AGHHHHH. Adventures with the Terrible Two's I guess.

American Idol

Okay so Jordin is my vote to win American Idol. I think that Melinda might win, but I do not think that she is American Idol materal!! Blake is also good, and is my pick for the guys. I LOVE American Idol!

Sick Boys...

Thatcher and Taggart are both sick. They have been coughing and sneezing and basically it has been no fun around our house these last couple days. Even though they are sick they are both extremely funny and cute. I can't help but seriously laugh at some of the things they do each day.

Today Thatcher threw a HUGE tantrum (goes along with being sick I guess). I was trying to settle him down and said, "Do you want a hug?" He got really close to my face and screamed "NO HUG MOMMY!". I then said, "Oh Thatcher that is not very nice, can you be the nice Thatcher I know?" and his response was "NO NICE MOMMY!". I was trying to be serious, but I burst into laughter (which made him more mad, oops!) He has started saying the funniest things and he is SUCH a chatter box. For snack today I asked him if he wanted crackers or raisins and he said, "crackers AND raisins". He is also saying "I want..." now, which can be cute and also can be a tad bit annoying after you hear "I want cake!" a million times a day! He is also very polite always saying, "thank you", "please", and "bless you" after someone sneezes. He also says "I love you" now and will come up and say it spontaneously, which is so fun.

Taggy is growing up so much I can hardly believe it! He uses his hands so well now and grabs most everything in sight. He babbles all day long and thinks it is the funniest thing ever when you copy the sound he is making. Thatcher and Taggy are now "playing" together a lot and Taggart is all smiles when Thatcher gives him the time of day. I absolutely LOVE to see them interact together, it is one of my all time favorite things.

Fun little quiz...I knew it. I totally have a western accent. What about all of you?

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

The Midland

Boston

North Central

The Inland North

Philadelphia

The South

The Northeast

A peek into our morning....

Pump It Up!

Today Teresa and I took the kids to "Pump it Up". It is a great place full of big blow up-jump toys. Thatcher and Lacey had a ball! It was really fun because Teresa and I could go on the big blow up toys with our kids. We had so much fun. It is a great place!

The kids had such a great time playing, jumping, riding and sliding. Oh, and Taggy had fun playing with Blue.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had a wonderful Easter. We dyed eggs Saturday night. Thatcher woke up Sunday morning to surprises from the Easter Bunny (and Grandma and Grandpa Monson! :)). Thatcher loved the Easter egg hunt, and loved even more what was inside the eggs! We will just say that Thatcher had a sugar rush all of Sunday. We went to church and had a wonderful Easter program and reflected on the miracle of the resurrection of our Savior. We finished off the night having a yummy dinner with good friends. It was a great day.

We had a fun time dying eggs late Saturday night. Thatcher thought it was absolutly amazing that the eggs went from white to color. He LOVED it.

The Easter Bunny was good to Thatcher and Taggart this year!

Thatcher going around looking for the eggs the Easter Bunny left.

Thatcher enjoying the fruits of his labor!

Here are the boys in their easter outfits! Don't they look adorable? They are really starting to be such good friends.

Mesa Easter Pageant!

On Friday night we went with some of our friends up to Mesa for the annual Easter pageant put on by the church on the Mesa Temple grounds. It was really fun! We went to Cafe Rio first, and it was yummy! The pageant was great and really well done. The weather was beautiful, no need for jackets or blankets. It was a great little trip and we all had a blast, including the kids which is most important!

Such a cutie bug!

We had such a great time just hanging out on the blankets waiting for the pageant to start.

The kids loved getting on Kyle's (Teresa's husband, Lacey's Dad) back and he would push them over and they would fall off. They were laughing and laughing. Here Lacey is holding on to Thatcher for dear life. I don't think he minded! I don't know if it is possible for a two year old to have a crush, but if it is, he has one! :)

Party Time!

Here are a few pictures from Jaxon's birthday party. The kids really had fun playing with bubbles and eating cake.

Trying to get all the kids to look at the camera is impossible! Here they all are watching Jaxon open presents and eating cake!

Even Taggy had fun at the party!

Lacey, Landon, and Thatcher.
