Christmas was good for us this year! It was just our little family and we had a nice day of relaxing, playing with new toys, cooking (that was me!) and eating a great dinner with the missionaries. It was the first time that I made a big holiday dinner by myself that included turkey with all the trimming. It was a nice day and it was wonderful to see Christmas through Thatcher's eyes. It was great. We feel so blessed this year and we are grateful for this time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Christmas Eve was really wonderful for us this year. We drove around to all our friends and delivered cookies and fudge and looked at all the Christmas lights. Taggart slept constantly, like a good little baby (all of our kids are good little kids). So Grandma kisses him goodbye while he sleeps in his favorite place...his swing!!
Taggart fell asleep with me in bed for about an hour or so this morning after he ate. We wrap our kids up in a burrito when they are infants so they can sleep better, so I was surprised when I came back into the bedroom after getting Thatcher up to find Taggart sleeping like this with his arms out. I think it is so cute, he is already out growing the burrito wrap!
