9 months on...

So having two babies in two years equals...A DIET! :-) So to motivate me I put up "skinny pictures" of myself on our fridge! Ha! It might sound weird, but it has been really working and helping me make good choices when I go to snack. Right now I am really just hoping that we can eat healthy so that we can feel, and look healthy and I am also looking into training for a 5K and start running vigorously again. So that saying that says, "9 months on, 9 months off" is it for me "18 months on, 18 months off"? We will see!

Our Home!

This is our address plate that is on the front of our house. We are really excited to be in our home and living here in SUNNY Tucson!

Home Sweet Home!

Taggart

This is Taggart sleeping in his swing. He absolutly loves to sleep all day in his swing. Just like Thatcher we bundle him up in a swaddle when he goes to sleep. I don't know what I would do if I didn't know this priceless trick for making babies feel secure, probably never sleep myself! Isn't he cute! He is getting some chubby cheeks!

Taggart is 1 month old!!

We cannot believe that it has already been a month since Taggart was born! Time goes by so fast! At his doctor appointment just before he turned 1 month he weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz., and is in the 57th percentile for weight. He has grown three inches since birth and is measuring 22 1/2 inches tall and in the 90th percentile for height! He is growing so fast and already is so much bigger than when he was born. He fits into clothes that Thatcher didn't wear until he was almost two months old. We are having fun with him now that he is becoming more alert and opening his eyes more and more every day.

Thatcher at Playgroup playing in the Sprinklers!

Once a week I get together with a group of girls from our ward and we have lunch and let the kids play for about two hours. It is such a good time and since all our kids are around the same age, it is really nice for them! We joke that playgroup might be more for the moms than the kids, but we won't tell them! During this playgroup we let the kids play in the sprinklers and Thatcher absolutly loved it! He had such a good time, he was the last one playing!

Thatcher playing with camera

Thatcher chasing Todd around trying to grab the digital camera. We thought it was so funny because Thatcher was laughing his "out of control laugh"!

Cute Diaper Cake!

My cousin Jessica makes Diaper Cakes and sent this one to us for Taggart. It is adorable! She makes them and ships them anywhere, so if anyone is interested...let me know!

Mommy and Thatcher
Rachael with her two boys!

The Reeds come to visit!

This is my good friend Kaylyn Reed who I knew when I went to Ricks College (when it was still Ricks College). We went on a special exchange program together the fall of 98. Now here we are 8 years later and between both of us we have five kids! We had a great time visiting and catching up before her family moves to England in a week!

Stickers!

Thatcher and I like to play a game where I put lots of stickers all over him, and he pulls them off. He especially loves it when we put stickers on his nose!
