Halloween Decor

So...

I really love Halloween.

This year having my own house to decorate I was like a kid in a candy store.

It is SO fun to decorate for the Holidays!

C'mon, I live for this stuff.

So here is a little peak of the damage that I did.

It's a good start.

Aunt Julianne

Todd's sister Julianne was in town for a friends wedding and

stopped by for a little visit.

The boys loved harassing her, and we had a very eventful weekend with tornadoes and Julianne getting a few flat tires!

We had a fun visit and I can't believe that the little girl who was 14 at our wedding is now a 20 year old woman!

So we went to the BYU vs. TCU game.

We lost.

Who cares, it is a rebuilding year right?

Dear TCU,

Thanks for being so generous to your visiting fans for putting them in the section that the sun blares down on you for the WHOLE game and you get sun burned in October.

Living the BYU dream, y'all!

Our good friends, fellow LGO's who we went to the game with...

Anna and Dave Segrera.

Seeing them was a little slice of Westgate/Cambridge Heaven, and made me "homesick" something fierce.

...When I have grown a foot or two....

My parents, Dave, and Jon, Rebecca and Abby came for a short visit before David went into the MTC to begin his two year mission to Australia. It was great to have one last hurrah before Dave left for two years. I am so proud of him, and after being in the MTC for only three weeks I can tell he is already one amazing missionary!

We had a great time playing games, hanging out, going to the Temple, laughing, and crying as we said goodbye. It is always good to spend time as a family, and Dave will be missed when we are together again on Christmas!

See you in two years Davey boy...

We had Todd's "greenie" and his family over for dinner a few nights ago.

We always love getting together with mission friends.

We have a lot of time together alone now...

Thatcher got his alone time for 17 months,

so now it is Tagg's turn.

We hang out, read books, watch Diego, eat lunch together, take naps...

He is my little buddy.

It has been really wonderful!

and I just love this little boy to pieces.

Last Summer Hurrah!

Labor Day we rested from our daily labors and went to a Water Park to play ourselves silly.

It was really, really fun.

The boys loved it.

It was a great way to bid farewell to Summer.

Happy Birthday to Todd.

We had a little celebration Sunday night.

He requested Shepard's Pie for his birthday dinner.

He is a funny kid.

He gets fillet mignon and sushi almost nightly at work, (poor baby right?)

so for his B-day dinner he wanted a good ol' home cooked casserole.

And that is how we roll in this house, casseroles!

So grateful that 28 years ago this casserole loving guy was born and then 19 years later he met me and somehow we fell in love and now we are living the dream.
