We're crazy about sports around here, y'all!

Frisco was voted "Best place to raise an athlete" in Men's Heath Magazine...

I would say that is probably true seeing as the whole city is NUTS about sports!

Ever seen Friday Night Lights?

Texans love their sports, don't mess!

This Fall the boys decided that Tagg wanted to play soccer...

and Thatcher decided he wants to be the next Jimmer and start basketball.

We have been having fun at weekly practices and Saturday games, and they have enjoyed it so much we have signed them up for Winter season too!

Back to School

Summer is over and it is back to school for these boys...
Thatcher is LOVING his 1st grade teacher and class.
Thatch THRIVES on a schedule, so he just eats up school.
He is reading like a maniac and soaking up all that he can already....
he is a smarty pants like his Dad.
He is also SO HAPPY to be back with school friends,
making up clubs at recess and talking a little too much during carpet times...
takes after me.

Tagg is in a PreK program this year, four days a week, three hours a day.
He is loving it so far.
He loves his cute and super fun teacher Miss Janette.
He loves playing freeze dance and center time.
He also loves seeing lots of his church friends at school!
He told me today that he really likes "Spanish Gary"..
(Miss Janette's husband who teaches them some Spanish)
and told me that he is "so funny and speaks Spanish SO fast", which totally impressed him.

It's going to be a great year!
Can't wait to see these kiddos learn, progress and grow.

We do birthdays big around here y'all...

 ...you know what they say...
go big, or go home.

Tagg is our big 5 year old.
Don't even get me started on how my baby is 5.
These 5 years have gone by in a blink.

Tagg is a little light in our family.
He is so, so funny and makes me laugh all. day. long.
He loves, loves, loves his big brother...
and also loves to fight with him too, but I guess that is what brothers do.
He is the most creative, original, imaginative kid...
he is always making up games, pretending, making imaginary friends, and makes toys and objects talk.
He is confident, charming, loving, kind and very sweet,
and just really so perfect...
with a few super gigantic tantrums mixed in just for fun.
I could not imagine life without my Tagg.
I'm so glad you are mine forever little boy.

Happy 5th Birthday Tagg!

 Tagg's Pirate Party

Tagg wanted a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party this year.
It was a fun party to plan and create.
The kids had fun,
and Tagg loved it.
