 The Last Summer Hoorah 2011

The week of labor day we packed up the Sienna and made the 4.5 hour trip south to that great city San Antonio (which I made the observation this time, is in my opinion, a cross between Tucson and Vegas)
for some r&r.
It was blissful.
Heavenly.
Just what the doctor ordered.

Yes, yes this was the third time we stayed at this resort this summer, okay fine.
But the other two times were more little weekend getaways.
Plus the nights were free to us at this resort using hotel points...
a little, shall we say, bonus to having a traveling man, who has made a lot of stops...
 for a husband.

Well to sum it all up it was a whole lot of fun.
We were lazy, happy, full, water logged, and rested.
And left summer behind with a bang.

And now to be true to myself...and my roots,
 I will introduce...

Kickin it in San An 2011
TOP TEN MEMORIES
(just because everyone loves a good top ten list)

10.  Being upgraded when we arrived to a suite where the boys had their own room and TV and consequently we got to sleep in, and in a king sized bed...where I didn't touch someone the whole night!  BLISS!  Best sleep ever.
9.  Todd joining the big kids club, Happy 29th Babe!
8.  The craziest women on the planet every morning at breakfast.
7.  Night swimming and having the whole pool and water slide all to ourselves.
6.  Todd's accidental phone call to the front desk... and the long pause.
5.  Ordering pizza and watching Fox News.
4.  Bowling, Olive Garden, and Mini Golf, and also the Alamo, and the basement to the Alamo.
3.  Waisting 2 hours of our lives watching Spy Kids: All the Time in the World...
but the boys loved it, which made it worth it!
2.  The boys trying Sushi and Wasabi for the first time.
1.  Singing along to every single song on my iPhone on the way home.
