My Tagg

We have a lot of time together alone now...

Thatcher got his alone time for 17 months,

so now it is Tagg's turn.

We hang out, read books, watch Diego, eat lunch together, take naps...

He is my little buddy.

It has been really wonderful!

and I just love this little boy to pieces.

The process of the Tantrum...

(Tagg has my Grandpa Mason's eyes. I saw it from the moment he was born.
I can totally see them in this picture!)

Last Summer Hurrah!

Labor Day we rested from our daily labors and went to a Water Park to play ourselves silly.

It was really, really fun.

The boys loved it.

It was a great way to bid farewell to Summer.

28 never looked so good...

Happy Birthday to Todd.

We had a little celebration Sunday night.

He requested Shepard's Pie for his birthday dinner.

He is a funny kid.

He gets fillet mignon and sushi almost nightly at work, (poor baby right?)
so for his B-day dinner he wanted a good ol' home cooked casserole.

And that is how we roll in this house, casseroles!

So grateful that 28 years ago this casserole loving guy was born and then 19 years later he met me and somehow we fell in love and now we are living the dream.

Love you Bidwi.

Tagg Turns 4!

On September 1st Taggart turned 4.

He was very anxious for the day for quite some time.

That morning when I hugged him and told him Happy Birthday and that he was FINALLY 4!, he was excited for 2.2 seconds and then asked me,

"When do I turn 5 so I can catch up with Thatcher?"

Oh boy.

Tagg had a great birthday!

We had a little Toy Story birthday party for him with some of his new little friends.

And then later on that night he had his favorite dinner of homemade Mac and Cheese.

He got a new bike which he already loves and we are excited for cooler weather coming where the boys can practice their bike riding skills!

Happy Birthday cute little Tagg!

Tagg's First Day of Preschool!

Tagg was very excited to start Preschool.

Especially after Thatcher already started Kindergarten, he had to wait a week to start HIS school.

He has the nicest teacher, Miss Hillary.

And he has loved every day, which makes me so happy.

So now three days a week, I have about three hours to myself...

What am I going to be do?!?

Oh don't worry, I will find plenty to "do"...

...(Home Goods, Target, etc) Ha!

Getting ready to check in with Miss Hillary!
Finding his name...
Finding his cubby...

First Day of Kindergarten

Thatcher's First Day of Kindergarten
August 23, 2010

Okay, so first of all I cannot believe I am writing this post.

Can someone please tell me when Thatcher grew up and got old enough to leave me and go to school ALL DAY LONG?

Oh boy.

Let me tell you, it was hard for me to let go.

Hard for me.

Easy for him.

He was SO excited.

He has been counting down the days for over two weeks...

Well that day finally came.

He was SO cute, and looked so big walking into that school.

Like I said, I lost it.

Oh the places this kid is going to go...

I can't wait to help him along the way!

Outside the Elementary School.

Walking into school...

He found his hook and cubby right away...

Sitting at his desk.

So far he LOVES it.

He loves lunch time, recess, math time, coloring and cutting. He is making new friends, and told me after his first day that there is a girl who sits across from him with "beautiful eyes".

Yikes.

Tonight I told Thatcher that I am going to be one of his room mothers.

He told me, "umm I like to be alone at school with my friends".

Great.

He is already getting embarrassed by his Mom.

Too bad.

Home Sweet Home

It feels so nice to have a house again...

We have been in the house for almost a month now and have made some serious progress on getting settled.

But don't worry, the Den is still filled with boxes and clutter.

My "craft room" upstairs is a disaster.

And I am embarrassed by the garage.

All projects that will take time to complete...but I love it!

And there is NO decor up...yet.

But, that will soon change. :)

Be sure to check out my other blog while I take on the challenge of decorating this beast one room at a time! LOVE!

Anyway...

I can't say enough how blessed I feel to be moved into this home, to be getting settled in a great area and to have enough space and a backyard to send the boys to so I don't lose my mind! :)
